I hold an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), issued by Workforce Singapore, the national workforce development agency. The ACTA is a national standard for accredited trainers and facilitators in the adult learning space.

I train, coach, and facilitate students and startups pro bono and am looking to take on adjunct projects and assignments in local institutes of higher learning. My areas of expertise include: entrepreneurship, business models, marketing, branding and communications, career guidance, and leadership coaching.

2. Aug 2019: What’s Your Next Step – Speaker/Facilitator

  • Career discovery session: half-day series of workshops and sharing for ~30 youths
  • Facilitated ~45 min session with career decision frameworks and personal sharing

3. Jan 2019: IdeaSLAM 2019 – Team Mentor

  • Mentored a student team on business model canvas, market validation, pitch deck, and presenting

4. Jul 2018: SPINOFF/SPGG – Sales, Marketing, Validating Prototypes – Trainer / Facilitator

  • Prepared and facilitated 1-hour workshop for ~80 SP students & alumni
  • Delivered concepts, case studies, frameworks, and activities

5. May 2018: Tech In Asia Meetup – Speaker / Panellist

  • Shared with an audience of ~50 professionals from ASEAN on Singapore’s tech ecosystem

6. Apr 2018: Youth Innovation Challenge – Team Mentor & Judge

  • Mentored 3 student teams on business model in a mix of office hours and Q&A formats
  • Screened 10 other student teams on preliminary round for progression to finals

7. Aug 2017: SG Community Marketing Meetup – Masterclass & Speaker

  • Delivered a digital/community marketing briefing to ~20 marketers
  • Facilitated active discussion on marketing over networking session

  • Sharing with ~50 youths on working in a startup, career choices, and mindsets

9. Jul 2017: Social Media for Startups @ Lithan Academy – Trainer / Speaker

  • Trained and facilitated ~15 startups / SMEs in digital marketing & social media

10. Jan-Jun 2017: EDGE Mentorship Programme – Programme Lead & Mentor

  • Put 6 student-led startups through a structured programme (workshops, mentor linkups, pitching)
  • 4 of the startups went on to successfully raise external funding

11. Jan 2017: Sharpen Your EDGE Hackathon – Mentor & Judge

  • Facilitated hackathon, mentored 3 teams in closed setting, judged ~20 teams with active feedback

12. Nov 2016: NP Sandbox – Design Thinking & Business Model Canvas Trainer

  • Trained ~100 students from ~30 teams in NP’s entrepreneurship programme on Design Thinking
  • ~3 hours workshop with lesson outlines, planned activities, and deliverable outcomes

13. Sep 2016: ACE / JTC LaunchPad Opening – Working in a Startup – Panellist

  • Spoke on a panel discussion with Dr Koh Poh Koon, then-MOS, Trade & Industry & startup founders
  • Shared insights about working in a startup with media and ~100 youths & educators

14. Aug-Dec 2016: Singapore Management University – Teaching Assistant (Design Thinking)

  • Teaching Assistant role for undergraduate classes, project advisor for selected teams

  • Moderated panel discussion with 3 entrepreneurs for 100 youths with a tour of one-north

  • Delivered 45-min briefing with case studies and facilitated active discussion on business applications
